It was the morning the roads figuratively turned into ramps. Regular runners took the runways, err, the streets side by side with fashionistas who added pizzazz to the event, a welcome change. It was the Glamour Run, organized by STC High School Batch 87, directed by Runcheck, held on September 19, 2010 at the Ayala Terraces.
Glam Mom June Marq placed 10th in the 5K female category, a success on the third try. Glam Diosa was sub-1 in the 10K male, a consistent feat. Glam Friends dominated their respective events, a real class act. Congratulations, guys! TYJ is very proud of your achievements. Cheers!
Been out of the running circuit for awhile, on purpose. I missed last weekend's World Heart Day Run and today's Pink October Run. But I made up for that with more - a total 44K on the bike. The Columbia Trail Masters Duathlon on October 17, that's what.
