Run for Q

It's the first run organized for a call center, by a call center. Qualfon, a global BPO and contact center, was at the helm at this morning's Run 4 Q.  Held at the Terraces in Ayala Cebu (start/finish line), the event featured 3K, 5K, 10K and 16K race categories.

I completed my 6th 10K run this morning.  Hit the sack earlier than my usual bedtime the previous night and got up early before my alarm went off.  I was poised to improve my PR.  Well, a few seconds would have been good but that didn't happen, not today.  It's the very awful start (perhaps!).

Overall, it was a good race. Congratulations, Q!

  3. me too.. was there and ran for 10K under Aegis PS Black Panthers running club... my 5th race this year... although the race started a little late i still think overall, they did a wonderful job at making this event a successful one. Very organized and i hope this would make cebu running population grow even bigger..

  4. @markin - aegis runners are usually in white jersey with red and black combi, right? anyway, couldn't agree with you more, the race was a success. and yes, the popularity of running in cebu is getting too much boost, thus, more people are getting involved. :-)

  6. @katol - agree, but i think twinkle doesn't get anything before the run (maybe after), passion lang talaga nya and she does everything on her own. ling, a fellow blogger commented on this in my previous blog about Melina a.k.a. Twinkle...

so we're in the same bpo industry pala, although our core business is knowledge services and data conversion. i'm with innodata. (fyi: noy told me that his wife is also from aegis)
